Under the auspices of Italian Presidency of G7 on Security and Hate Speech

AMBASSADOR RAFFAELE TROMBETTA G7/G20 SHERPA AND THE AIDLR SECRETARY GENERAL’ CONVERSATION AT G7 CONFERENCE ON SECURITY AND HATE SPEECH

During the conference held in Rome Under the Auspices of the Italian Presidency of G7, the Secretary General of the AIDLR Liviu Olteanu had an important conversation with H.E. RAFFAELE TROMBETTA, AMBASSADOR of G7/G20 SHERPA, Office of Italian Prime Minister, which created the framework and organized the international conference on « Security and Hate Speech ». On that occasion, Olteanu expressed the AIDLR strong support for regional and international cooperation with the Italian Presidency of G7/G20, and with all actors, on concerned and sensitive issues as ‘religion, peace and security’, contributing to it by actors’ training, and defending the respect of the freedom of religion and freedom of expression for all people, both by states or non states actors, and also stressing the special role of diplomats, religions leaders, media, lawyers and non-guvernamental organizations that can work together to keep and protect the free speech and freedom of conscience and religion, climate of concordia and understanding between people, cultures and religions, in favor of peace and security, everywhere.
